The Positive Regard family of educational programs include Center School, School Based Services (SBS), Springdale Education Center (SEC), School Services Diagnostic Services (SSDC)Transportation Options (TO), as well as our nonprofit  organizations and programs: PROJECT-13,  Communitas Academy, and the Starfish Foundation.

Through our extensive network of highly trained staff, we provide a full range of services for children and young adults who may face significant challenges and who require special educational services provided by our own schools and also by our staff in public school districts throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Every child deserves unconditional positive regard and respect. With each interaction guided by our primary operating principle, education transcends the classroom, stretching out into the family, the community, and the workplace. We recognize learning is dynamic, shaped by experiences before, during, and after the current moment. Embracing our daily experiences with students as ongoing learning opportunities, we welcome these experiences which allow us to support and grow with each student while enriching the world around us all. With this recognition, we work toward a continuum of education and service that challenges these greater communities to emanate unconditional positive regard and respect.

We provide diverse learning opportunities to maximize the quality of life for children and young adults who are faced with significant challenges while providing unconditional positive regard in a safe, structured, educational environment.
